1. Controller
Ratio, MB, company code 307597501, operates ratio.lt. Please use the contacts below for privacy enquiries.
2. Enquiries and their contents
The form sends your name, email, selected service, message and optional company name to our server over HTTPS. The server prepares an email to the Ratio mailbox. Enquiry contents are not kept in a separate website database. The email and subsequent correspondence are stored in our email system. If sending fails, the details remain in the open form so you can retry or send an email yourself.
3. Enquiry source
An enquiry includes its page type, language and reference number and, when present in the link, limited campaign labels (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign). These help us understand the source of enquiries. We do not collect advertising click identifiers such as gclid. Salary amounts entered in the calculator are not sent.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We use enquiries to respond, assess requirements and prepare a proposal: to take steps at your request before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in responding to a company representative (Article 6(1)(f)). Security controls and limited enquiry-source records rely on legitimate interests in protecting the website and administering enquiries. Optional page-view and click statistics rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
5. Required and optional information
Name, email and message are required in the form. You may choose “Other / not sure yet” and leave the company name blank. Without a reply address we cannot respond. Do not submit passwords, bank login details, accounting documents or sensitive personal data. This form is not a document-transfer channel.
6. Security and technical data
A session cookie, security token, validation and request limits help prevent automated abuse. Rate limits use an IP address HMAC that changes daily; the original IP address is not stored in these application records. The hosting provider may record IP addresses and technical request information in its own operational and security logs under its terms.
7. Optional statistics
Only after you select “Allow statistics” do we record aggregate page views, clicks and form-use counts by page type and language. We use no advertising networks, visitor identifiers, fingerprinting or session recordings. Statistics receive neither form contents nor calculator amounts. You can withdraw through “Privacy settings” in the footer at any time.
8. Recipients and transfers
Authorised Ratio personnel and our website-hosting and email provider, Hostinger, process data for these purposes. Authorities or legal advisers may receive data where necessary. We do not sell data. If services involve a transfer outside the EEA, it must use a GDPR Chapter V basis, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about applicable safeguards.
9. Retention
Enquiries that do not result in a contract are retained in our mailbox for up to 24 months after the last communication. The security session is valid for up to 2 hours; rate-limit records are removed within 48 hours. Aggregate statistics are kept for up to 90 days and the browser privacy preference for up to 180 days. Cleanup takes place when the relevant function is next used. Provider logs and backups follow the provider’s retention terms. Contractual records and legal claims may require separate retention periods.
10. Your rights and complaints
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests and, where applicable, receive portable data. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. We normally respond within one month and inform you of a justified extension. You may complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).
11. Automated decisions and updates
We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects from enquiries, or build visitor profiles. The current privacy-policy version is published on this page.
